Nice and early tortoiseshell musical snuff box

Musical snuff box from an unknown maker. The case is made of Tortoiseshell. The lid has a central mother of pearl rectangular cartouche with canted corners. Finding a tortoiseshell snuff box in this condition is rare due to the nature of the material. The condition of the case is great apart from the small crack in the back.
The mechanism is playing 2 tunes with a very bright tone on a sectional comb. There are 21 sections of 3 teeth each.
This is a great collectors piece.
